Mount Vernon pupils make £5 grow

Last week I was invited along to Mount Vernon Primary School's Enterprise Day, where some of the pupils were taking part in the Make £5 Grow scheme.

The Make £5 Grow scheme is a free programme from Virgin Money which aims to have pupils learn what enterprise means and builds their business knowledge and skills to give them an insight into how business works.

I was incredibly impressed with the teamwork and creativy on show from the kids and have no doubt that there are some budding future entrepreneurs in the making!

Making the most of the glorious sunshine, the pupils also hosted a penalty shoot-out competition and I got to test my goalkeeping skills.

Well done to all involved in a fun and educational day at Mount Vernon Primary.
