More new housing for the East End

Shettleston Housing Association has completed its latest housing project at the old St Mark's Primary School site near Tollcross Park and it was a pleasure to attend the official opening with local Councillor Laura Doherty.

Local lad Archie Macpherson did the honours on the day, cutting the ribbon on 44 new homes, each built to Glasgow City Council's Gold Hybrid standard of energy efficiency.

This is another welcome addition to the East End, building on our legacy of social housing investment.
