David Linden MP is seeking an enthusiastic intern to join his staff for the annual John Wheatley internship.

This three-month summer internship is ideal for someone who is passionate about Glasgow’s East End. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated office team in Shettleston as well as Westminster.

Over the course of the internship, you’ll learn how to deal with constituency casework, draft news releases, learn admin skills, craft speeches and organise constituency events.

Details

  • Salary: £9.00 per hour (Scottish living wage)
  • Hours of work: Monday-Friday, 9.30am-4.30pm
  • Place of work: Primarily Shettleston, with occasional travel to Westminster (travel and accommodation will be paid for)
