High five for the London Marathon

On Sunday, I completed the London Marathon for the fifth time in order to raise funds for another worthy local charity.

My marathon efforts in previous years have raised thousands of pounds for East End Community Carers, Glasgow Girls FC, Glasgow North East Foodbank, Greater Easterhouse Supporting Hands (GESH), and the My Life, My Choice project in Easthall.

This year I ran to raise cash for Geeza Break, a remarkable East End charity which provides support and respite to families who require it for a whole variety of reasons. Running 26.2 miles was as tough as ever but it was nothing compared to the incredible work Geeza Break do every day and I'm delighted to have been able to support them.

My fundraiser is still open so if you can spare a few quid, please donate on my JustGiving page.
