Praise for top-performing local care home
I had the real pleasure yesterday of being able to visit Eastbank Care Home to commend the team on being placed in the top 20 care homes in Scotland at the recent carehome.co.uk awards.
This achievement is something that the dedicated workforce at the home can be proud of and is a recognition of their hard work. Just like all care homes, Eastbank has faced significant challenges over the course of the pandemic. Staff really have gone above and beyond to deliver excellent care in difficult times.
This award is certainly something to shout about, which I why I tabled a parliamentary motion of commendation at the House of Commons and I was delighted to present a framed copy of this to the team on my visit.

Eastbank Care Home awarded top twenty rated care homes in Scotland
That this House congratulates Eastbank Care Home for being recognised in the top 20 rated care homes in Scotland in the carehome.co.uk Awards 2021; notes that the award celebrates the dedication of the care home staff at Eastbank Care Home, who provide outstanding support to residents and their families; further notes that the award is based upon reviews from residents, their loved ones and other service users; congratulates all members of staff at the Eastbank Care Home and HC-One for the excellent reviews that led to them receiving the award; highlights that alongside Eastbank, 8 other Scottish care homes are on the top 20 list, making up almost half of the list; and celebrates the hard work and commitment of all care home staff, who work tirelessly to serve their communities.
